Greetings everyone! My name is Tennessee Freese. I'm 17 years old and am a senior at El Dorado high school in Placentia, CA. I've been playing saxophone for 6 years now, but started my journey as a musician learning piano in elementary school. I began my growth as a performer playing keyboards in a young rock band with my friends before picking up saxophone during Covid 19. I attended the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) for middle school, before transferring to El Dorado for high school. I made Eldo Jazz 1 as a freshman and my development as a saxophonist has taken off from there. I've performed as a member of the Southern California honor jazz band, and I am now lead tenor in both El Dorado Jazz 1 as well as the Fullerton College jazz band. Music has grown to be my greatest passion in life and I look to bring that same enjoyment to other young musicians like me!
Here’s me playing a Bruce Harris solo over a quick blues. I primarily play a metal Guardala Michael Brecker ii mouthpiece on a Yamaha Custom Z tenor sax.
